Tapestries
All tapestries are one-of-a-kind pieces using the techniques of resist and hand dying of the Yoruba culture of Nigeria, West Africa. Many of the themes/ motifs used in my practice come from dreams, nature, the Ifa religion, and my connection to the varied spiritual and artistic aspects of African/African American culture.
